Case Study Focus

Our main focus is to produce effective business managers and entrepreneurs for the industry. This cannot be done solely by teaching them business theories and methods in the class room. Therefore, our program is majorly focused on case study approach. Our students are expected to solve critical problems based on various case studies. It stimulates their cognitive thinking and grooms their management skills. By the time they graduate, they have a clear vision of real business world and its challenges.

We have incorporated case studies from both national and international organizations to give a holistic view of industry to our students. It enables them to understand the dynamics of business and management inside and out.

The case studies present real practical problems that managers encounter every day and how they deal with them. Our students analyze all the problems and give their own solutions to handle the problems at hand. It makes business management more of a skill than just theory.

The case study approach helps students at various levels:

  • It makes them good decision makers which is a key to be a successful manager
  • It enables the student to think critically and solve the problem through analytical approach
  • It opens up their minds to experience the real world outside

The case study approach is difficult as compared to theoretical course work. It requires extensive research and rigorous thinking. The students spends long hours at the library reading different case studies and finding ways to solve management problems. The whole activity is tedious at times but in the long run, it benefits them on professional scale. Their classrooms are actually manager’s desks for them which prepare them to combat challenges of business world.
